How It's Made
How HA!LO sneakers are made
This page exists so there's never any mystery about how a pair of HA!LO sneakers comes to be. Full transparency — both for you as a customer and for the search engines and payment platforms that ask us to show our work.
1. Every design is original artwork
Every HA!LO design is created by me, Kristy Schoenberg, at my studio in Jupiter, Florida. I'm a digital artist and graphic designer. I create each piece using a blend of digital tools — including AI-assisted ideation — and then refine it by hand in Procreate and Photoshop until it's finished. No third-party IP is used, no licensed characters, no counterfeits of other brands. If you ever want to know the story behind a specific design, just ask.
2. Manufacturing partner: Printful (US print-on-demand)
HA!LO designs are manufactured by Printful, a US-based print-on-demand company, under a standard commercial fulfillment partnership. Printful takes each approved artwork file and prints it onto men's or women's blank canvas sneakers. Their printing, quality-control, and packaging all happen in their US production facility. This partnership is why we can offer hundreds of original designs at accessible price points — the art is mine, the industrial printing and shoe manufacturing is theirs.
3. Your order is produced after you buy it
Nothing is pre-made. When you place an order, the design file and your size are sent to Printful's production queue, and a new pair is printed, assembled, and shipped from their US facility directly to you. Typical production and shipping time: 7–10 business days within the United States.
Because every pair is made-to-order, we hold no warehouse inventory, we never run markdown sales on excess stock, and nothing is sitting in a box waiting. The trade-off is that your pair takes a little longer to arrive than an off-the-shelf shoe — that wait is the shoe literally being made for you.
4. What you see on the product pages
Most of our product photography is professionally generated sneaker mockups — the artwork rendered onto a template image of the blank sneaker silhouette. We use mockups because producing thousands of on-feet photoshoots for hundreds of designs isn't feasible for a small studio, and the mockups accurately represent the color, scale, and placement of the print on the shoe.
Where available, we also post real photographs of produced pairs. If you'd like to see a real-production photo of a specific design before ordering, email kristy@meethailo.com and I'll send one — or order a pair and send me yours so I can add it to the gallery.
5. Returns, sizing, and customer support
Because each pair is made to order, please double-check sizing before you buy — the size chart is on every product page. If something isn't right, our full refund policy applies (60 days, customer-paid return shipping). You can reach me directly through the contact page or by replying to your order confirmation email.
6. The business behind the brand
HA!LO is the wearable-art line of Meet Hailo LLC, a Florida limited liability company registered at 11546 164th Ct N, Jupiter FL 33478. Kristy Schoenberg is the sole owner. Phone: (561) 315-9744. Email: kristy@meethailo.com.
That's the whole story — one artist in Florida, one manufacturing partner in the US, and a pair of shoes made just for you when you order them.
